Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi I'm fairly new to Grasshopper so bare with my novice question. Is there a way to deconstruct a grid/isotrim srf/brep to be able to select just vertical curves or just horizontal curves of that grid/isotrim srf/brep?

I'd rather not break it into list items because it's a fairly large grid and there would just be way too many points to have to manually connect them all.

I want to make thick vertical columns that follow my parametric surface and thin horizontal beams that connect through them.

Thanks in advance!

Wow that was easier then I thought, thanks!

the list item misses one row and column in u and v. if that is a problem for your solution, you can also try the following.

cheers
