algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello gh-people,

I want to get a grid based in Isocurves on my surface.

I created some lines in one direction und got some struggles now creating lines in the other on. In the next step I need some surfaces in the resualting fields between the lines.

Can you help me? :)

Regards, Steve

Instead of 'SubSrf', you could play directly with the 'Iso' curves:

This one does the surface/brep trim/split first, then uses 'Loft' on the Iso 'U crvs' to get the Iso 'V crvs'.

Thank you for your quick reply.

The b version ist what I'm looking for, because I need the isocurves parallel to the split line of the surface.

I still have the problem, that the Isocurves wont cover the whole surface.

Thank you for your help!

When using 'SubSrf', I usually find it handy to partition the results:

The issue of trimming is really a separate one; trimmed edges will be ignored for certain operations, hence the lofting of trimmed isocurves in my second reply above.
