Grasshopper Site Problems???

Hello,
For the past week, I've found it almost impossible to open the GH site. It might take 20 refreshes to finally get it to load - haltingly. Even then, it usually does not fully load and when it does, it soon disappears. I've tried both Firefox and IE with the same result and this is the only site giving me problems. On the other hand, I see many of "the regulars" still posting with no apparent difficulty. Any suggestions, before I once again fade into the void? Thanks.

I think the partnership between NING and MODE was severed recently, and NING's been having trouble keeping their domains up and running worldwide. This would explain why it works for some, but not others. Although I wouldn't expect New York to be affected by outages as much as -say- Albania or Kyrgystan...

Hi David. Of course, now that I've complained, I'm able to respond unhindered, for the moment.... I'm also puzzled because several posters I recognize are also located in New York and seem blissfully unaware of any problem. Different ISP's? Maybe I'm not where I think I am. Well, back to my yurt.

I had also a lot problem, strangely GH site worked on private session VPN on my opera browser!

Hi Laurent. Well, at least I'm in good company. Not being an expert in such matters, I decided to just try your Opera/VPN method and it works perfectly. When VPN is not enabled, it still performs better than IE or Firefox but again only sporadically. It's nice to have a workaround, though I'd still like to know what the underlying problem is.
