Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Again I am having trouble with this exercise and anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

Continuing from the exercise on pp.84-91 of the Grasshopper Primer.

a)      Based on the exercise, modify the grasshopper definition so that each subsurface contains a circle that has a diameter the same as its smallest dimension.

Below is the answer which needs to be achieved through this exercise...

This is what I have so far.

I'm sorry, it's hard think of a way to help you without doing the task for you.

... Which I'm not going to do, since you probably get credits for it.

So maybe I'll just put into word's what I see on the pictures:

a) circles don't seem to be using the actual shortest dimension. They sit on each surfaces center. The radius connects to the the midpoints of the longer sides.

b) Those ellipses might not be ellipses at all. It looks like a curve that interpolates through the migpoints of the edges.
