Install the MS 2005 C++ redistributable runtimes.

Hi Danny,

Thanks for the quick reply. I installed the suggested package, and reran the Grasshopper install, but still no result. I'm still getting the same message as far as I can tell.

could you enable Windows Updates and install all updates?

I installed all Windows updates, but still no luck with installing GH, I'm still getting the same message.

Hey guys,

Anybody any other suggestions? Would be cool.
The workstation I am trying to install GH on is at work (all permissions are granted from employer), but as I don't otherwise work on this machine I can only try your suggestions with a bit of delay. In the same time all help is highly appreciated.
After having installed all the possible Windows updates I am still getting the same error message from GH when I try loading it.
Anyhow, let me know if there are any other ideas regarding the above problem.

Hi Marton,

It would appear I gave you a bum steer on the runtimes file. The link I supplied was for an old version. I've posted the correct link in this thread: http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/that-was-bad-intelligence

Sorry for the inconvenience. The correct file should sort you problem out.
