Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Good day,

As I started recently with grasshopper, I can say that I am being in the right direction thanks to some generous users who were helping me to solve problems I had in addition to tutorials.

I am jumping now to a next level of research in this plugin, and I appreciate if someone could also guide me where to find similar studies or examples, links that can be useful to my research.

I want to know how can someone use grasshopper in order to generate solutions in an urban context.

Thank you for your help

Probably because "generate solutions in an urban context" sounds like a 3 years' masters thesis rather than a specific question.

Thank you David for your kind clarification.

Try this as a starter for 10 :)

Oh I see now I got it, well sorry I came from different culture and I don't have knowledge in  British comedy-drama films...

Anyway thank you Danny for the link you shared, it actually has lot of useful examples, a,d that's what I was looking for in addition to some papers and abstracts I found in cumincad.

Have a good day

Glad you liked it :)

Starter for 10 is a reference to University Challenge which is a quiz show currently on the BBC where teams of 4 students from different university answer questions on general knowledge. A question is put to both teams as a Starter for 10 points and the individual who buzzes first and answers correctly gets the chance to answer 3 more questions (5 points each) whilst conferring with their team mates. Then another 10 point question is asked so on and so forth

It has been referenced in popular culture including films (see above) and the Young Ones who made light of the split screen format by building the set on top of each other enabling Vyvyan to stamp on Emma Thompson's head.

As a British saying it is probably the equivalent to the US Jeopardy phrase "I'll take ____ for $1000, Alex"

Thank you Danny for the clarification, I like this exchange in culture, specially that I am way far from British, European and American cultures.

Much appreciated

Are you only living in Paris then... or is that not correct?

I was in a visit in Paris when I created my profile. But no I am not french.

And you, your British I guess?

Nationality British but I'm a Manx resident having grown up in the Isle of Man since I was 10. Before that it was Saudi Arabia
