Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Just wondering if Grasshopper will be available for Rhino Mac when it gets fully developed and goes commercial.

It should be (more or less). The McNeel team has been working on using Mono, which is the implementation of the dotNET framework on the Mac, with the Rhino OSX builds. The good news (last I heard) was that it was working quite well for purely Rhino related plugins, but that custom UI (which is something that GH relies heavily on) is what's causing a lot of issues. I haven't heard to much on this recently so I'm not sure how far they've gone with things.
Sorry about the very late reply! Yes I've been following a bit on Mono... sounds promising for Grasshopper then. Thanks!
When can we expect a mac-version of Grasshopper? Hope to see this useful tool soon on OS X.

Don't know. There was some pretty good progress on Mono-Mac recently but pretty much everyone in Seattle is very busy getting Rhino5 out of the door so this is not overall priority.
