algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all, it's been a while!
I noticed recently that I can't use block instances linked to a rhino file with Grasshopper. Whenever I try to "set one Brep", the Brep container displays "null".
I realise it would be useless to do this once I bake the geometry, so what is the best strategy to reduce file size with Grasshopper when you have thousands of objects? Would something like block instancing for Rhino be possible in Grasshopper?
I am creating a definition with 500 to 1000 Breps managed with Grasshopper and it produces quite a "heavy" file, no more and no less than 340MB - and it's simple geometry!!
All the best,
a.

Outstanding! But I really think some sort of geometry instancing option when baking should be present in GH.
maybe this?: http://www.food4rhino.com/project/human
It's amazing how I didn't know about this plugin. Thanks, Manuel.
