grass as a parametric design programmm!

hi all i am new user i am wondering how grass as a prametric design program conduct designing proccess?! when we use grass we know what shape we want draw and do not face unexpected shape. i doubt if just grass is designer assisstance (like 3dmax that help for modelling)of course grass use numerical logic for drawinig please let me your recommendation.

Hi Elham,

Grasshopper is pretty much an extension of Rhino. If you have a fixed shape you'd like to draw, chances are that doing so in Rhino will be easier. Grasshopper is used mostly for computational processes and shape exploration.

it is better that i say i wanna know more about parametric design and its proccess. because i decide discuss about this in my thesis. my project is designing mathematic faculty .tell me from where shoud i start my project?? i think about sun rout equation at sky and gaining maximum solar energy (designing building shell)but sirculation in building is not seperated from its shell.i mean i can not design a plan, then with parametric proccess, design a shell for it.how can i design plan by this proccess? please help me
