Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to array a geometry in a gradual way, so the spacing between the geometry isn't linear but rather almost parabolic where it starts as spread out and as the numbers end the geometry becomes closer to each other.

also the reason I am doing this is because I have a surface that I would like to perforate with a gradient, so the surface is obviously curved. lets say it is parabolic and I want the perforations to be denser towards the edges of the surface(as the curvature gets stronger) but for now if anyone can resolve for me this expression in a neater way I would be grateful.

if also to have a gradient perforation that would be amazing.

Thanks,

A

Hi ahmad.

How about using graphmapper?

In case of Surface, you'd better use point attractor.

thanks a lot, that is perfect.

Hi,

I'm fairly new to Grasshopper. Could someone please tell me what the name of the component titled "Switch Data" is in the image above? I think I know the rest.

Thanks!
Brig

"Value List" (Params-->Input-->Value List)

Thank you!!!
