GIS to GH

Where can i find info about import GIS Data to GH using Finches, i saw a lot of Python Scripts and a lot of things but there's not an integral documentation or a video showing the process to transfer GIS data to Rhino+GH for people with Basic Knowledge of Scripting Like Me. 

if some one can help me, cuz i'm doing my Master Thesis, Based in the city of Buenos Aires and i have a shape file with a lot of info of the city and i wanted to make a 3D model Of the city based on the Shape File  that have the blocks, the lots, the zones, the height of the buildings etc etc. 

if someone can give me a hand will be appreciate
