Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I'm trying to make an organic "roof" system.

I started from a drape surface model in Rhino and I'm trying to make a gills surface of it whit grasshopper...

I would like to make the gills in the cross section of the surface.

I did but I've some problems whit the loft because I don't know how to exclude some curves for fix the resulting loft surface...

Any help and idea?

Any discussion of this topic?

Hi again Jacopo! I put a flip matrix to get the same intention... but your curves are not on the surface and if you  want to follow with isotrim you should know that after explode brep you are getting more curves than desired.  ;)

The definition it's perfect...

The only thing I want it's create from a plane base surface a "drape" modeling the control point of each profile curve....

But I don't know how to "morph" each profile curve....

I have some problem making gills on a patch surface...

I think I have this problem because the surface isn't regular

Any idea for fix the definition?

Hi Jacopo. I would untrim this surface, make the gills and extract the arcs of the surface to split the gills. See you ;)

Combine your ideas with those of Lucas and salie this result having problems with the original surface.

Hy guys...how can manage a patch surface like the file whit grasshopper...I tried to divide the surface but grasshopper use the untrimmed origin surface, how can i fix the problem?....
