You will need to make use of the Shift list component in order to get lofting pairs of curves,

an un-modified section curve and the next modified section curve.

Have a look at this for an example.

one question: why do you use the -1 shifted list? it works fine connecting the geom. element directly.

Are you doing it to remove some spare curve or something like that?

I use curves attached perpendicular to guide curves and rotate them accordingly around the guide curve, then loft all the rotated curves. Gives some interesting results. http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/pringle-gills?context=user
