GHv0.6.0059 Preview custom param

In Grasshopper v0.7 I can derive my class from IGH_PreviewData to implement methods for drawing my object in wireframe or Mesh.

How do I do this in GHv0.6.0059? I've reflected on this for a while, and can't work it out.

To answer my own question, I found the classes Display.GH_PointBucket etc which when utilized from the Component class seem to be the equivalent.

Jon,

Preview and baking was the job of the Parameter in 0.6, it's the job of the data in 0.7. The new system is far easier to code for (and there's still the possibility to override the drawing on the parameter level if you feel like caching stuff).

Is there any reason you want this to work on 0.6?

I did get it working. A significant number of the GeomGym plug-in users are not able to upgrade to GH0.7, not always their own decision (Lot's of firms don't like to be on the leading edge of new software releases), so my hands are tied.
