Ghpython "key pressed" Input?

Hello everybody, 

I'm wondering if there is a function like keypressed() or something similar in python for grasshopper.

I want to make a GHpython component to receive input from keyboard, like arrow buttons, escape..... etc.

is it possible?!

well, since I'm not familiar with both vb and c#, I'll go to second option, which seems perfect for me.
