gHowl Excel formulas displayed?

I'm trying to use gHowl to link my excel sheet to grasshopper... but in the grasshopper panel showing the values its pulling from excel, it shows the formulas for the cells rather than their values. Is there any way around this? Annnd is it possible to link them in a way that the updates are real time?

Hi,

I have the same problem. Is there any way around this problem. I have an spradsheet doing losts of calculations. I need to just read the results of the caculatyions. GHOWL return the formula in the cell rather than the value.
