Any Ideas how to fix this???

I've forwarded this to a TDMSolutions representative.
They should get back in a short while.

Thanks Giulio.

I also skyped Rafael. But no response so far.

The thread also has been added here by someone else:

Hi again Phillip, I just noticed this: you mentioned "with Grasshopper 0.3".
Is that really the version (so old)?

No,no. It is "RhinoNest within Grasshopper 0.3" , which is the current version.

Also I am using the latest version of RhinoNEST, RH5, Grasshopper and RH4. So all this shouldn´t be the problem.

I think it might be that Nest for GH in incompatible with .NET 4?

I dont have any version before since this was built into my newly installed WINDOWS 7

Best, Phillip

Yes, I see, that might be due to an incompatibility of the older RhinoNest with the newer Grasshopper.

Just one more quick check: if your computer is new, did you run all Windows Updates? (including .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 )

Thanks,

Did all common updates, but it seems like it not so easy to install 3.5 on a system that has 4.0 included. I´ll keep on trying and let you know.

Thanks,

Philip

Just checked on a different machine where everything is running smoothly.

Seems like here is no active version of 3.5 either (see pic). So I guess this is not the problem...

Maybe, I´ll try tonight anyhow.

Thanks, Phillip

Finally, solved the problem.

Deinstalled Grasshopper 0.8.0063 ; reinstalled 0.8.0062.

All works fine.

Still don´t know, whats the problem...

Thanks for your help though.

Best,

Phillip

Wow!!! You are sooo quick!!! :) Sorry about the delay in my answer (10 hours :) ), I'm in Japan right now.

I will report to my collegues in Barcelona to check it.

Thanks,

Thank you Phillip!

I think with some small changes Rafa's coworkers could make it work also on version 0.8.63. I still am not sure about the Rhino 4.0 error.

Cheers,

I have the same problem with Grasshopper 0.8.0063 and RhinoNest 0.3 for grasshopper. I'm using Rhino 5 and don't really want to go back to 0.0.0062. Is there another fix for this? Thanks.

Hi Trygve,

apparently Rafael found a fix.
