Getting Guid of Target

Hi,

in C I can use the 1st line to get B's Guid. What can I do in A to get it without using ghenv.Component.OnPingDocument()?

What's the purpose of "GetTopLevel.DocObjecf"? You should be able to get the instance guid of the recipient directly, no?
