Getting a list from image sampler

Hello,

Im trying to sample brightness values out of an image, at specific points.

The points on the divided curve in the image attached are located in the variable "points", which connects to the image sampler component.

I want to manipulate each point, based on the brightness value it samples from the image, but the image sampler doesnt return a list, only float or color, although the panel shows all the values (as if its a list).

any way to get a list?

Im using grasshopper python.
