Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi fellow Grasshopper's

I have a bit of a problem regarding getting data from one tree to match a second tree.

I want to select the data in Tree A by using the paths greated by Tree B but retaining the structure of Tree B rather then Tree A as the Tree Branch component does.

Hope somebody can shade some light on how this can be solved. Script with intialized data attached.

Best regards

Morten

Normally you would need the replace branches component to handle this sort of thing, but for this particular example the input into P could be a flat list.

Use the Flatten option on the inputs context menu

You want to 'shed' some light. Shade is pretty much the opposite...

I promise my next post will be helpful.

Thanks for the correction Vincente.. might have been the spell checking that got me.. ;)

Turns out I had to sleep on it.. the Tree Item component is solution here as all Branches only contain one data point.. But thanks for the suggestion Danny..

Best regards
