algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all.
I've been experimenting with Kangaroo and Galapagos. To make them work with each other, I've been running Kangaroo with a list of booleans plugged into the "simulation reset" input, instead of the usual single boolean and a timer (see attached file). It seems strangely undocumented, but this way Kangaroo spits out trees where each branch corresponds to a single step of the simulation. For example, each branch of the "ParticlesOut" output holds the point positions for each point at that step of the simulation. However, the "GeometryOut" output always contains a flattened list. As shown in the demo file, it's not too hard to find the last branch, since the elements remain ordered, but it shouldn't really be necessary.
Or, is there something I'm missing that makes this intended behavior? It's relatively minor, but because of that, should be relatively easy to fix? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.
