algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi All,
I having some difficulties in my project using the plugin quelea;
I need to generate 2 random numbers between 1 to 5 every 6 seconds but the time interval should start after switching boolean toggle (so it will be sync with the agent system).
attaching some idea to manage it, but the timer component does not start counting when the boolean switch to 'ture' so the interval is not calibrate. Any Ideas?
Thanks you all!
Roy

I am not sure what you mean by this. I just rebuilt your example and the timer starts as expected.
Can you explain what is or is not happening exactly.
ps: also please next time attach the part of your file as a .gh file so we can try it without rebuilding. Its the nice thing to do and will mostly mean the difference between someone giving you an answer or not.
Here is what I made (tried the 2 different gates) and both work fine.
Armin, thank you for your response!
Yes, this solution produces random numbers every 6 seconds but the problem is at the beginning.
i need the interval of 6 seconds will start Just when I press the Boolean switch. This is probably because the timer is not affected by the toggle. the result is that the random change isnt sync with the quelea system emitter.
I have tried to use Disable timer component: (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/disable-timer-component-i...) - but it didn't work well for some reason
Roy.

Armin Seltz is absolutely correct about this. Please see #3 on this page:
3. Attach minimal versions of all the relevant files
If you have a GH/GHX file you have a question about, attach it to the post. Don't expect that people will recreate a file based on a screen-shot because that's a lot of pointless work. It's also a good idea to remove everything non-essential from a GH file. You can use the 'Internalise Data' menu option to cut everything to the left of a parameter:
