Generating ordered points + lines in a zig zag fashion in between two sets of closed curves

I have a closed curve with its offset inside of the outer curve, im trying to draw an ordered series of points in between these two curves, leaving the center untouched. I want the points drawn in between to allow me to manipulate the amount of points in the space as well as the fashion of the polyline that i can connect the points with. 

Ive attached my Rhino and GH screenshots as well as a drawing of what i would like to do, any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you look at the screenshot i posted, you can see the zig zag pattern is consuming the entire square even though the points only occupy the space between. How can i just draw zig zag lines between the two outlines?
