Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello

I am trying to design a facade with sense of movement. I chose optical illusions for my design. Now I am trying to achieve these optical illusions through flowl plugin which does not help. Can anybody suggest me some other way to achieve same effects. I am also attaching pictures of what I have tried

These are not optical illusions. Some of the images you posted appear to be stripe texture which gets deformed as a whole, and one image looks like a set of wavy lines with randomized thickness variations.

The question is do you need this pattern to be a bitmap or for it to be geometry?

Sorry if i used wrong term. i want these to generate black strips as surfaces. But for that I am trying to figure out how I can create linework in such patterns
Something like this not exactly...but this somewhat relates to my idea.

Thanks David...That is great logic which I could not think of...This will help in my design process..Thanks Again!

How about using the image sampler component

I can do image sampling but then I cannot control facade parameters in grasshopper....the facade would be guided by these abstract images then
