Generating circles on Grid Structure nodes - wrong normal from "Evaluate surface"?!

Hello good people,

I want to generate circles on a surface according to the srf normal. Subdivide the surface with Lunchbox's >Grid Structure and get the normals via "Evaluate Surface"

Just that "Evaluate Surface" gives wrong normals... I sense it's something simple but I am at loss how to figure it out - how to get the circles to "lie" on the surface.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

Thanks man... thought grid structure would create pts on surface and get the right normals... wouldn't occur to me to use different types of coordinates, UV...

so just for understanding - srf closest point matches the generated point to the surface and outputs its' UV, and only from these uv can I get the point for the correct normal?
