algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello all,
I have very recently started learning grasshopper and I'm working on a definition to get my bearings with the software, so please forgive me if this is a simple question and I'm just being dense.
I am working on a mandala generator and what I was wondering is whether I can pull off X amount of results at the same time?
There are three groups of variables, there's the number of elements, the position of the points and the rotation of those points.
What I would like to do is have grasshopper create variations of the final product by adjusting a variable, so for example if the number of elements is 6, can I get it to generate geometry at different angles from 0-360 at 5° intervals so that I can then analyse them side by side myself?
And is it possible to have grasshopper arrange them into a grid?
Thank you,
Sash

Thank you, that's perfect
I think I need to bury my nose and get studying again
You will get there, don't worry. I can recommend going to a live workshop, doing an online workshop/videos - my favourite paid ones are by ReseArch or watch some Youtube videos - here my favourite are by Daniel Christev. And of course there is nothing like trial and error and using this forum to learn ;)
Welcome to
