algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Daniel, 

i'm trying to simulate a hypo-cycloid with the gear simulator component, but i can't figure out how to use it, what i'm trying to reproduce are the curves like the picture

Here's a rough example of how to set this up.

Note how the outer ring has a slit so it can be identified as a single shape with an inside and outside.

Also, this is a very hastily drawn gear tooth profile with massive backlash!

If you have just 2 smooth circles (like in the first row of images in your link) they will slide against each other instead of turning, but I think you could directly simulate things like in the second row without adding teeth.
