Galapagos Interface

Hi,

 

I don't know if I am just bad at searching but I was wondering what the boxes at the bottom of the Galapagos solver interface mean. I have a general idea but was wondering if I could get some more explanation on what they are showing, especially the one with the black dots and red xs.

I've written a few blog posts about Galapagos. This one discusses Genome Graphs. The black dots represent genomes that have mated with other genomes to produce offspring, red crosses represent genomes that did not (genetic dead ends).
