From Concave to convex

Hi guys, 

I was wondering if there was a component (in grasshopper or any additional plug-in) that could transform one concave volume into sets of convex volumes?

I don't think so. What sort of shape do you have? Is it made up of triangles? Polygons? Smooth faces?

No I was just wondering if for any concave brep there was already an algorithm to do so, if not I'll try to create a component that does it.
