algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
Can someone help me? I want to use a frame spacing table as input and the x positions of the frames as output. I have made the domains as can be seen in attached grasshopper example, but I am lost how to get further.

Hi Bas, could you explain it a bit clearer, maybe provide some actual frame(s)?
Somehow I tend to think of the MassAddition partial results output, but I really don't get what the goal exactly is here.
Hi Pieter,
This is a table of frame spacing of a ship.
From frame -20 till frame -10 a frame spacing of 10mm is used (in X direction),
from frame -10 till frame -5 a frame spacing of 25mm is used,
from frame -5 till frame -10 a frame spacing of 100mm is used,
etc.
Frame 0 is located on X=0 mm
Frame -5 will be on X=-500 mm
Frame -6 will be on X=(X of frame -5) -25 = -525 mm
Frame -11 wil be on X= ((X of frame -10) -10 = ?? mm
etc.
Cheers,
Bas
Typo:
from frame -5 till frame +10 a frame spacing of 100mm is used,
etc.
Two pre-typo approaches attached. Adjust to fit your needs.
Hi Pieter,
Dank je wel, thank you.
It seems to work......until I added other frames and frame spacing. Can you help again?
Bas
You provided one too many framespace values: in between the four planes there are just three spacing values for use:
-5 ... 10 ... 50 ... 200
However, in case the frame at x=200 isn't the last frame of the whole series, but you want to continue beyond that, you'll need to add a new (last) value to the FramesFrom list (and maybe rename it to FramesFromTo). ;)
