Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi all,

I am new to grasshopper (like really really new to parametric design) and I've been reading up tutorials and the primer book provided online but i still haven grasp the idea/concept of scripting design. I am currently stuck with form finding for my proposal due in the coming mid week...

I am seeking for a triangulated form with garden spaces as the attractor points affecting the form of the building. The closer the form is to the garden, the higher storeys are setback further and at the same time it goes higher.

If possible i'm looking at the possibility of the triangle panel to vary in dimension by the distance from the attractor points (gardens).

I've seen alot of online tutorial but haven really found one that deals with massing finding, thus was hoping to find some guidance here.

attached are some sketches of my intention with the design.

Thank you very much.

Regards,

Barry

principle it would be easier to get an answer,
if the question is not too complicated.

whatever: that would be a start!

Hi,

Thanks for replying to my question. I do admit that question was looking into too much aspect into the whole design. Your example of outcome looks awesome, I guess i'll try to decipher and understand the definitions you had provided.

Thanks!
