algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi guys,
Could someone tell me what kind of approach I could follow to accomplish this kind of
fluidity in grasshopper?
I took a quick look in the forum but not found what I was looking for..
I have tried using curve bend with attraction points, mesh climber,but I dont have the result that I wanted, as I am far to find a digital method to do this, I decided to askfor your help, maybe someone already has an idea.
I attached one of mydesign for you to see what I want to do..
and a i found this project of Scalefulnees that is similar to what I'm trying to do

hi,
looking at your design, i'd recommend using Maya rather than Rhino. your drawing has way too many irregularities in the system to be treated parametrically.
however, if you really want to make it somehow automated or simulated, then i guess it would be possible to achieve using Kangaroo, but i personally would use Anemone. just draw some input curves, divide them and drag points that are close to each other even closer bit by bit.
another option would be using force fields, but the result will be different in many aspects. however as a starting point it could be sufficient.

I figured the best tool would be the Maya , but hoped to find a way to parameterize fluid cells :D I agree that a good way in this case would be to use the Kangaroo or Anemone , I will follow your suggestion and start learning how to use Maya !

In fact, the best approach for this could be TSplines 4.x - (a) if they work, (b) if they work and (c) if they work.
The bad news are that TSplines are for the moment like cold fusion: brilliant idea, ideal for Planet Zorg.
