flipping surface - trim solid problems

Hi Guys

I experience quite often issues with trim solid, trimming only partial
or the flipping surface command not really flipping or in instances
even failing to work (red icon).

Even when I plug a revolve surface into a flip node it can fail and
this does not make sense.

Any ideas? Are those commands still very buggy?

I cold supply two scenes where I encounter that issue.

The trim solid is buggy for me too. But I have never had problems with Flip surface. Is it one surface you are trying to flip or multiple surfaces? If it is multiple surfaces they cannot be joined. If they are joined its seen as a Brep and then the flip icon will turn red because it cannot convert Brep data to Surface data.

I have to add though, that whenever I have had a problem with any Solid boolean tools or Trim solid, I was always able to get it to work, and always ended up forcing me to use a cleaner better approach, which could mean it was my fault I guess. But still I believe there are some bugs to be sorted out, Rhino itself had similar problems in previous versions but have really sorted those problems out, in my experience.
