algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

i would like to automaticaly generate flat patterns of some combined surface, so that they stayed together. I tried a lot but cant find a proper solution.

Please see the gh definition to understand in which order the surfaces depends to each other in my case.

the flattened thing could be made from curves, surfaces are not needed because this is for laser cutting.

Can anyone help me with this?

...A-nice-to-have would be in the next step if the patterns will fill up a given frame together with the "best" economic positioning. But i dont think this is easy to make, or? Im just dreaming a little bit. At first i have to solve the unfold problem.

I have found out that it could be done with the "toolbox" plugin as discribed in this thread: www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/unfolding-tabbing-and-tagging-a-...
Hereby the single surfaces will be flatten more or less usefull, but seperately and not as a collection of surfaces.

Anyone any idea to hold them together?

Even if someone can tell me that this is not possible will helps a lot! Then I have to think about other ways to reach my target.

But I'm still thinking that everything is possible in GH...  :)   ...providing that you have a large knowledge and can spend a lot of time, am I right?
