firefly connect with touch osc

Hi everyone ,I want to connect firefly with i pad by [touch osc] ,but the component OSClistener did not show any date when I changed slider in i pad.

I used (https://www.whatismyip.com/) to find my computer IP ,then set up the same number of port(outgoing) with firefly.

I have no idea what’s going on,plese help me. thanks~

Hi Ali,

Two things that come to mind. First, do you have any firewall or virus protection software running. It's possible that this could be blocking messages even if you have the IP and Port setup correctly. Also, your IP list above is likely your public IP address. This should be fine, but you should be able to locate your internal network IP. You might try to use that instead. Also, are you sure both devices are using the same network?

I should enter the broadband router's external IP ,not the computer's IP

I can receive the date from i pad now,but I wonder that could I send the date back to i pad with touchOSC?

Yes. You should be able to send data back to the iPad. You just need to have the ports correct and the name of the slider, etc. You should use the OSC Sender for this.
