Hey guys

I want to find the normal of a surface and extrude it based on the normal..

can anyone help me

A surface can have many different normals. For example a sphere will have all of them. If your surface is planar (i.e. flat) then you can just convert it to a Plane, and then harvest the Z axis direction. Or, if your surface is planar then you can evaluate it at any point within its domain and get the normal vector.

If your surface isn't planar, then the question needs to be restated.

Did you mean you'd like to find the normal at each point? That's what the "Evaluate Surface" component will do, except you'll need the uv coordinates of the points where you want to extrude.
