Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm doing a project for uni, and as part of that project I want my object to be baked at different stages in quick succession, so as example baked every 20ms.

The reason I want to do this is that i'm trying to create 3D printed sound waves and I'm approaching this by having the radius of a moving circle along a line defined by a frequency spectrum.

I quite new to Grasshopper, so if I could get help with this project it would be greatly appreciated! :D

Here's an approach I have used in the past.

It requires Andrew's Bake Geometry from the Human Plug-in. Everything in Purple effects the baking.

Timer needs to be enabled.

The X on the Record Data allows you to clear the history resetting the definition.

The Toggle needs to be True to Bake.

Also the effect was achieved by changing the first slider by hand whilst it was baking.

Lastly the Large Number is a fail safe to terminate the upper baking limit.

If you can be more specific about your requirements I can help with adapting it to your needs.

oops here's the file
