Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello! Maybe it is simple question but i cant understand this. I have some set of points in the 3d space. I have to find all closest then, for example, 5 mm point in the each z level and then approcsimate it to the one point. When i use closest point component, i will generate very big Array because this component calculated closest points for all points. When i compare of each point's z component with every one point, grasshopper generated array with massive boolean data for all point in every one branch.
Sorry for my english but i need some help :)

It'll be easier to help if you post your definition...

You think so? Ok, i have some cad model like this http://skfb.ly/54jiedc0a to texture it like this http://skfb.ly/5lk4jd0 i have to generate simple mesh from original cad file. Automatic file converters gnerated very bad mesh, its mesh is posible to texture but its boring and very slow. I try to generate mesh automaticaly.
Now i have one definition that generated not bad mesh from the simple cad model (not original but its not problem now). When i try to clean mesh the Blender welded closest point in all directions and i needs use small weld increase and still have more handed work. I know, if i welding only points that have same z level i can use more weld increase.

Cad file and definition there https://www.wuala.com/Arredatore/grasshopper/net/?key=4huG8wjRx2QO

Have you tried [Cull Duplicates] which has a proximity tolerance distance  setting

Thank you i didn't know this.
