Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi everyone,

I need to write a small script or a grasshopper definition to round all the corners of 1500 boxes, which are all "booled" together. (see pic for a small impression)

As I (hopefully) understood correct, I can't take the FilletSrf command, because the SDK won't let us play with it :-) ... so which is the right way? Does anyone knows a smart workaround or even has seen a script or a definition (I'm searching since several days and couldn't find anything, which brings me much forward).

First of all I thought that I gonna move the corners and just use a pipe pp...but it isn't so easy :-) than I tried with TSplines, but I don't want to have meshes.

Which way would you take?

Thanks,

Sebastian

I'm not sure why exactly the _FilletEdge rhino command isn't good enough. Why do you want to play with it? Do you need to set different fillet radii depending on a particular edge property or something along those lines?

Hi Vicente, thanks for your quick replay.
I don't need to do any thing special with the corners, but i have corners which are concave instead of convex and I have a problem with the vertex. They won't be smooth...

I'll try again with the _FilletCrv tomorrow.
All the best,
Sebastian
