algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to sweep 1 rail with those 4 sets of rails and those section lines on the base curve.

One way of doing this can be splitting the data tree for the rails into 4 and sweep them separately.

However I want to do it all together, please help me with this!

Thanks!

Here is the picture when I tried to sweep them all together

Hi, unless you're seeking to somehow combine all the hyperboloids in one smooth surface, this might be an approach:

Thank you Ethan but sorry to be unclear,

however what I wanted to do is form these four hyperboloids by constructing straight elements going from bottom to the tops. "timber_vector" is the rails and "line SDL" is the sections.

In my initial attempt above, the first 16 items in my "timber_vector" list is correct, but the rest of the items in this list are all coming out from the last (15th) item on the "line SDL" list.

I thought a way to make them correct, which is by splitting the data tree of "timber_vector" into four branches, then sweep them separately. like this:

however, is that possible to not split the data tree and sweep them all together?

Thanks

Sorry, but I guess I'm not clear on what you mean by "all together" and why that is of any advantage.
