Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm fairly new to both Grasshopper and Rhino... but loving both. I've started to get some degree of output from Grasshopper and would soon like to fabricate some of my experiments. Can anyone recommend a plugin or tutorial they're particularly fond of?

Thanks much.

Un Didi has a ribbing script that works very well... and it is pretty easy to find layout scripts for laser cutting; I think that Designalyze has a .ghx file for this.
What type of fabrication scripts are you looking for, specifically?

I'll certainly start with these and let you know how it goes...

I have a series of surfaces (facated and otherwise) that I'd like to lasercut. Ideally a script with unroll these into a few strips as possible, label common points for assembly, etc.

More advanced (though still very basic) iterations also include an underlaying structure of ribs. An ideal script a script would include a degree of construction logic, creating joints as needed and once again facilitating a layout for lasercut/cnc.
Grasshopper Member Chris K Palmer works with some wonderful scripts that may be of help:

Good luck!
Take a look to my blog. I made a definition that works very well for me. If you don´t speak spanish skip the crappy introduction at the top.
