algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi guys,

I have a hexagon grid with circle cut outs that are scaled to a curve, I'm trying to extrude the surface to a set of points, so that when you extrude the surface it is extruded in according to the set of points. So the extrusion gradually increase towards the point, because i'm trying to create a surface that has bigger openings and smaller openings at then end of the extrusion- so when light enters it would concentrate the lighting if you get what i mean...it's abit like Le Corbusier's Notre dame du haut but the extrusion are scale in according to a set of points..

You have to measure the distance from each hexagon cell to the nearest point. You can use the Closest Point component for that, or even Pull Point. This distance then has to be modified into an extrusion height. You can either use an Expression, or a Graph Mapper, or some other custom logic. Once you have an extrusion height, plug those numbers into the Z vector component and extrude away.

I was able to scale the extrusion in according to a set of points, but the extrusion just extruded in a straight line...I wanted more of a big opening to smaller opening scaled extrusion? Like I have what I want in the file..now i just need to vary the height of the extrusion to a set of points...
