They're the same until you add input to the options for the planar orientation of the extrusion and/or the planar orientation of the extrusion axis.

thanx a lot my friend but when i start changing x y values the extrudes curve leaves the original curve and gives strange results .... Can the extruded curve stick with the original one without moving in space?
