algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am trying to ouput curcves for laser cutting. Most of companies using Coreldraw for cutting. What is the best way to export my work to Corel?

RhinoNest has a HPGL export function, but I could not figure out how to make it work.

.Dxf or .ai usually work fine if Corel is the destination.  You might want to check with your laser supplier how the file comes in and see if you need to adjust options (especially with .dxf, there are many).  You will need to bake the curves first, of course.

I tried dxf but it doesnt work well. Usullaly it splits closed curves. It gives tedious job for the laser cutter company to unify them again.

As I said, check your export options.  Most if not all of the "canned" schemes in Rhino's DXF export include exploding polylines and curves.  You will likely need to create your own export scheme that doesn't have these options checked.

Just use the .ai (illustrator) format. Works best, tested it many times over many years with Corel.
