EXPORT SEPARATED .DAT FILES TO A GIVEN FOLDER

Hi.

I am developing a GH script for curves manipulation.

the points generated by dividing the modified curves are then exported to a different program for further analysis.

I am driven by need to export separated .dat files each one containing the XYZ coordinates of points created from those curves.

I'd also like to name them  according to the tree branch they belong to ( i.e. 0.dat / 1.dat...n.dat ) and store them to a given folder.

I gave  a few trial by using one of the several excel writer available in GH but after exporting to excel i still have to save the dat files separately which is time consuming when i get several branches +  it may lead to typing mistakes.

does anyone know if there a way to do this by using a GH components  ?
