Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

HI, im Ignacio from Chile, im dentist.

Recently i start a project  to make orthoses using 3d scan and then print the artifact, to save time and money. (like a 3d cast)

I have been learning from some tutorials and some post here, but i need some help, i have a big problem to make a exoeskeleton when the thumb (finger) cross parallel to the other fingers. the cross sections cannot distinguish one from the other and make one product.

I have 2 ideas:

1.- Transform the mesh in to a exoskeletal

2.- Make a coverage of the and and arm of a exoskeletal.

i dont know which works better, im gonna upload the things that my group and i, have been working, the .gh file, have several patterns to make, but only before the thumb.

if someone can help us or have a better idea, i will very grateful, and his name will be used in this project.

This orthoses need to be very specific.

I uploaded a photo it's like that but i need all the fingers (the thumb not)

Thanks to all!
