Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

This is the end result of the activity...the boxes become smaller as they spproach the attractor point. I am trying to create the opposite effect with the boxes becoming larger closer to the attractor point (This needs to be completed in two different ways).

Thanks

post the definition to see where you need to reverse the way wich the cubes becomes smaller when are closet to the attraction point, i think its too easy to achieve the opositive way

Mate. this is the definition below!

post the GH file

quickly maybe if you apply a math inversion  in the scale commponet can work

Ok. Just add an attractor point for it to work.

I put 1/F for the scale component and it kind of worked. It made all the boxed tiny though. But they were bigger nearer to the attractor point.

just switch your division to get the inverse operation

distance / number  you got this in the division componet

number / distance you need to do that

this avoid to use more slider like in the remap ex that michael use in him case
