Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

***newbie alarm!!!***

I'm trying to follow what Zubin Khazabi illustrates on page 144 of his "Generative Algorithms" (ver. 02), where he evaluates a curve with a graph mapper, so that the distance of the points on the curve increase according to the graph.

But I can't get to keep the points within the curve's domain, they are always stacked on the beginning of it. Only if I set the graph mapper's ranges to match the length of the curve my points will fit.

Attached follows my file. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot

Hello Lucas,

here s the file. If you reparametrize the curve, you need only a 0-1 domain (not to it's length) and therefore you also don t need to change the graph limits.

cheers
