Sounds like a corrupted file, but David is absent for one week with no means of contact. Do you have system protection switch on and are able to role back to a previous version with your operating system?

System protection will create shadow copies of your files that have been modified since the last restore point on Windows vista and 7. If you have it saved on a server then this will probably be the case regardless of your PC. Right click on the file in windows explorer and select Properties and then the Previous version Tab. Wait a short while for the list to be populated and then select the date you want.

Apart from this I am at a loss.

Hi Danny,

I have loaded the file on a friends computer and it opened! thank goodness. posible a internal problem on my pc or gh copy will try and reinstall and hope for the best in the mean time will just live in the studo, thanks for the advice
