algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Error message Newtonsoft.Json

Hi,

I'm a complete beginner to atit and am very impressed with what it does. I'm just trying out its various possibilities, but with some tools I get the following error message, even though others work fine.

1. Solution exception:Could not load file or assembly 'Newtonsoft.Json, Version=6.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=30ad4fe6b2a6aeed' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

For all I can tell this is something at the OS level. Maybe the package isn't installed properly?

Grateful for any hints!

this most likely means you're missing the newtonsoft.json.dll file, which should probably live in your grasshopper libraries folder along with whatever GHA is asking for it. If the file is in fact there, be sure to right-click it and "unblock" if that option is available.

Thanks. For some reason the dll wasn't part of the 2.3 distribution. But I was able to get it online.

Now the error message is gone. :-)

I had the same error message, downloaded the dll file but now I have this error on the OSM_Buildings component.

Solution exception:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What could it be?
